With Durethan® and Pocan® XF, flow properties are up to 80% better than conventional grades. This means flow paths become longer than ever imagined, while the product properties remain virtually unchanged. For you as an injection moulder, this has a number of major advantages: a larger processing window in terms of temperature and mould filling pressure, shorter cycle times, higher part quality and simpler mould construction for new developments. All of which can help you cut costs significantly. Yet another costsaving ability is thin-wall applications - giving you a reach that stretches far beyond other materials.
Our Mission: Plastichem strives to comprehensively link the customer + producer by focusing on the details of sales, supply chain management and individual account management. Eastar Tritan™ reshapes your expectation from polymers. The unique properties of Tritan deliver performance that is often superior to other clear thermoplastics. Areas of potenial advantage include ease of processing, lower levels of residual stress, high heat and impact resistance as well as clarity, toughness and chemical resistance of the finished products. Conventional packaging materials will provide either the beautifully transparent plastic or the flexibility to be moulded into a handle. They won't do both. Producers are faced with either hiding the healthy luster of fresh juice within dull, opaque containers, or marketing difficult-to-carry, clear containers. Fortunately, a solution presented itself in the shape of Eastar™, It has both the superb clarity and extremely high melt strength, making it an excellent choice when manufacturing this type of extrusion blow moulded bottle. Albis Plastic presents NEW TPVs. Requirements for TPVs today are becoming increasingly complex and challenging. New raw materials, production technologies and modern compact designs place greater demands on temperature resistance, media resistance and flow capability. Alfater® XL High Flow fills this gap and can be used for components with long flow paths, thin walls and intricate geometries. The processing of Alfater® XL High Flow is easy, and slower injection speeds and pressures can be used. This is an interesting characteristic as often the injection point cannot be selected to optimally suit the material when it comes to the production of complex parts. The result is a “clean” component at the gating area.
